Chaffetz represents himself

"Incumbent Chaffetz lives in Matheson’s district! Two plus years ago, when Matheson was looking very safe politically, Chaffetz decided to do “whatever it takes” to get into office. He figured out that he’d be able to win a Republican convention/primary a lot easier than a general election. Easier to recruit and/or manipulate 1000+ delegates than to try and target 100,000+ voters. So instead of filing to challenge Matheson in his own district, he filed to run against Cannon, outside of his district. Did Chaffetz think Matheson was more conservative than Cannon? Or was it political opportunism at its worst?"

Cannon brought this up when Chaffetz challenged him and Chaffetz simply said he was going to move if he did win. Jason Chaffetz has yet to move and spends very little time in his district. Chaffetz claims he represents Utah to Washington and not Washington to Utah but I guess he forgot which part of Utah he was supposed to represent!
